Quick tip: I use a dimmable bulb, because the details really pop at lower brightness. At full blast, it's still lovely but a bit washed out.
The best part? It ships flat but assembles in literally seconds by snapping the rings into place. This doesn't take away from the quality look at all— it absolutely does not look cheap. Just be careful to assemble it right the first time, so that you don’t risk damaging it trying to switch the rings.

Our lampshade is designed to fit the most common type of lamp base, but it's always best to do a quick check. Here’s how:
1. Check the Fitter Type: We Use a UNO Fitter
Our shade has a central ring with a diameter of 4cm (1.57 inches). This is called a UNO fitter, and it sits directly on your lamp's socket. You then use a screw-on ring to hold it in place.
2. Check Your Lamp Socket (The Simple Test):
Look at the base of your lightbulb socket. Do you see a threaded ring (usually plastic or metal)? If you can unscrew this ring, our lampshade will fit perfectly. You'll simply place the shade onto the socket and then screw the ring back on to secure it.
3. Bulb Socket Compatibility (E26/E27):
This 4cm UNO fitter is the standard size for E27 sockets (common in Europe, UK, Asia, etc.) and also fits snugly on E26 sockets (standard in the US and North America).
Please Note: It will NOT fit lamps that use a "harp and finial" system (where the shade rests on a metal U-shaped frame and is secured by a small cap at the very top).
