Our lampshade uses a "UNO" fitter, which is a flat ring that sits directly on your lamp's socket and is held in place by a screw-on ring.
- Our Fitter Ring Diameter: 4cm (approx. 1.57 inches).
- Please Note: This will NOT fit lamps that use a "harp and finial" system (a U-shaped metal frame).
Step 2: Check Your Lamp's Socket Standard
- For E27 Sockets (Standard in EU, UK, Asia, etc.): Yes! Our 4cm UNO fitter is the international standard for E27 lamp bases. It will fit perfectly.
- For E26 Sockets (Standard in the US & North America): It depends. Please check carefully.While E26 and E27 bulbs are often interchangeable, the outer shells of the lamp sockets can vary slightly between manufacturers.
Step 3: The Critical E26 "Wobble Test"
If you have an E26 lamp, the best way to ensure a perfect, balanced fit is to measure the outer diameter of the threaded part of your lamp socket (the part you screw the ring onto).
- If the diameter is close to 4cm (1.57 inches), our lampshade will fit snugly and securely.
- If it is significantly smaller, you may experience the tilting issue.
